A studio engineered for vocal depth, visual polish, and zero distraction.
We built sonklemom because audio quality should never be an afterthought. Our Toronto space balances acoustic rigor with an inviting, conversational atmosphere.
Acoustic Architecture
Most commercial spaces are plagued by flutter echo, street vibration, and HVAC rumble. sonklemom was constructed with a decoupled floating floor system and double-wall perimeter barriers to achieve an STC 55 sound transmission rating.
Our acoustic treatment features tuned membrane bass absorbers and custom Scandinavian birch diffusion panels. The result is a measured reverberation time (RT60) under 0.25 seconds—warm, dry, and natural without sounding sterile or claustrophobic.
Hardware Standards
We deliberately selected industry-standard equipment that requires zero guesswork. Every seat is equipped with a Shure SM7B dynamic microphone mounted on an articulated silent boom arm with integrated high-pass filtration.
Our visual setup integrates three Blackmagic Cinema 4K cameras running through matched prime lenses, illuminated by color-accurate continuous LED diffusion lights rated at CRI 96+. Creators leave with files that match broadcast television fidelity.
